ABOUT
Carol Cummins hails from the island of Ireland.
Carol's expression leans toward light; and out of that expression comes ironed images of energy. When not involved with group projects Carol cuts her photographic teeth shooting live performances & musical acts, be they low liners or festival events. Her goal has always been the capture of the raw energy inherent to live music & performance. She has been fortunate to shoot such acts as Sinead O' Connor, Paddy Casey, Mundy, David Kitt, The Frames, The Pixies, Rodrigo y Gabriella, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Mastadon, Jimmi Cliff & Powderfinger at such Festivals as Byron Bay, Blues & Roots, Big Day Out, Folk Rhythm & Life and Meridith in Australia and Oxygen, The Electric Picnic & Slane in Ireland to name a few.
Her work has been widely published across both National and International newspapers, magazines, websites and various exhibitions. She continues as always to capture the trans formative effect the stage has on a performer through her live work, as well as doing more editorial shots & creative portraiture for selective clients and opportunistic events.
If it's a live show, a compelling band portrait, or a creative for a campaign; she can capture it. Carol is open to all opportunities within the industry, looking to assist & collaborate with some experienced creative photographers.
